BRIAN HERNY
Founder and CEO of BH Recruiting. Brian has sent hundreds of players to play college football at all levels for close to a decade. He started off as an intern for Jacksonville University’s D1 Football Program, which led him to helping football players throughout the country get recruited and continue their dreams of playing College Football and beyond.
JON MOHR
Jon is a dedicated high school football coach with nine seasons of experience, including four as a quarterbacks coach. A former college football player, he brings firsthand knowledge of the game to his athletes, focusing on skill development, leadership, and preparation for the next level. For the past five years, Jon has also worked with BH Recruiting, helping student-athletes connect with college programs and achieve their recruiting goals.
JARED TUCKER
Jared comes with tremendous experience. He was a Recruiting Assistant for Wake Forest (2020-2021) and moved on to Auburn University where he held the role of Assistant Director of Player Personnel (2021-2023). After a few seasons, he made stops at Coastal Carolina University to be the Recruiting Coordinator (2023) and then the Director of Scouting at Liberty University (2023-2024).
TRAVIS WILLIAMSON
A Fernandina Beach High School 2005 grad, Travis played defensive back at Coastal Carolina University from (2005-2008). He returned home to coach youth ball for several years before raising into Yulee High’s Defensive Back Coach (2017-2020) and Defensive Coordinator (2021-2024). In 2025, he was named Director of Football Talent Development at Hitsquad Elite in Yulee, FL. That summer, he launched Nassau County’s first ever, girls only flag football league, expanding access to the sport in Northeast Florida.
ABU TURAY
Abu Turay is a dedicated football recruiting professional with over five years of experience in scouting and recruiting at the NCAA Division I level, with stops at Coastal Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Northwestern. A proud product of Columbus City League football, Turay earned All-District and All-City honors before continuing his education at the University of Cincinnati, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and a minor in Business Administration. While at Cincinnati, he also became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and committed himself to mentoring first-year students.
Turay began his career as a football assistant at Mount St. Joseph University, a Division III program, before transitioning into Division I recruiting. He went on to serve as a Recruiting Assistant at Northwestern and Georgia Tech before making his mark as Defensive Scouting Coordinator at Coastal Carolina.
At Coastal Carolina, Turay played an integral role in securing the Sun Belt Conference’s top-ranked recruiting classes in both 2023 and 2024. His work contributed to signing First Team All-Sun Belt selection Clev Lubin, landing 10 of the top 20 recruits in program history, and supporting the growth of future professionals—including five former interns who have since advanced into college football roles.
With a deep passion for player development and mentorship, Turay is committed to using his knowledge and experience to positively impact young athletes and their families. His mission is to guide them through the recruiting process, help them reach their goals, and ensure they find the right academic and athletic fit.

FRED MATRICARDI
Fred Matricardi has dedicated more than two decades to shaping the future of young baseball players across Northeast Florida. With 21 years of high school coaching experience at Orange Park, Baker County, and Yulee. Coach Matricardi has built a legacy defined by competitive success, player development, and a deep passion for the game. Over the course of his career, he has amassed 232 career wins and helped guide more than 50 student-athletes to college baseball scholarships.
In addition to his high school coaching success, Coach Matricardi has been heavily involved in the travel baseball world, working with some of the nation’s top programs such as CBU, 5 Star, Florida Dodgers Scout, and Wow Factor. Consistently preparing players to compete at the highest levels. His ability to mentor athletes and open doors for their futures has made him a trusted name in the baseball community.
Coach Matricardi has had the privilege of coaching numerous elite prospects who have gone on to play at the next level. Among his list of standout commits are:
